The clean beaches, crisp waters, and local restaurants will certainly dazzle you.
Playa Socorro
Have you ever been to a black sand beach before? If not, head to Playa Socorro for a day spent lounging on the black volcanic sands. The beach isn’t the widest on the island, but it is certainly one of the most popular – especially on the weekends. The waves here are incredible – prompting surfers to hit the waters and parents to keep an extra eye on their children.
Playa Bollullo, Playa Pozo, and Playa de los Patos
Yes, there are a few beaches on the island where going nude is a-ok. Start with a trip to Playa Bollullo, which is not a nude beach. Here you will enjoy black sands, gigantic waves, and lovely beach bars. From there you’ll find a path to Playa Pozo and Playa de los Patos, both of which are popular beaches amongst both nudists and surfers. Be careful driving to these beaches as the road in is one-track, making it necessary to be acutely aware of oncoming traffic.
