Dramatic Fall Wedding Centerpieces

Fall is such a beautiful season for a wedding. With all the pretty falling leaves, the sound of the rain hitting the roof, fall weddings can be very elegant. If you are going to have a nice fall wedding, than you should have some dramatic fall wedding centerpieces as well. There is nothing more gorgeous than a wedding that matches the season. Although you may think, what can I do for a fall centerpiece, there are many ideas that you can incorporate.

Fall colors are mainly reds, browns, oranges and yellows. If you are thinking of having your wedding near the Thanksgiving holiday, you can use cornucopias as a nice centerpiece. Whether you fill them with Indian corn and gourds is up to you. You can make a unique centerpiece using the cornucopia and fill it with sunflowers, lotus pods, and red roses.

If Halloween is your thing, than by all means, carve some jack-o-lanterns as your fall wedding centerpieces. You can get the whole wedding party involved with this by giving each one of them a pumpkin to carve. You can also fill glass vases with candy corn or those little fall colored taffy or the pumpkin chews. By doing this, you have a nice, simple centerpiece that you can display that won’t take away from the rest of the evening. At the end of the night, your guests can take the centerpieces home with them as well.

If you really love the fall colored leaves, then use those in your centerpieces. You can scatter them on a table or collect some and place them in a mason jar and set a candle on top. This will be a nice effect when it starts getting dark outside. Don’t put the lid on the jar because the candle won’t stay lit and the leaves might wither if they are trapped in the jar. Let them breathe so that they can retain their color.

No matter what you choose for your dramatic fall wedding centerpieces, there is always an idea that can make them look gorgeous so get creative!
