I don’t agree with a lot of what Michelle Malkin has to say. But I respect her right to say it, and I am therefore extremely disappointed to hear of the denial of service attacks against her website for re-publishing the Danish cartoons.
She’s also posted a selection of the threatening emails she has received. They’re of the standard you would expect:
the dishonourable the mean the prostitute I’am a müslim and turkish I kill
you devil you are goto the hell shit the whore
This site is pretty low traffic right now, so I haven’t personally had any hate-mail for my decisions to write about (although not re-publish) the cartoons. I have received the odd threatening email for my work on siberianlight.net, though, so I can imagine how Michelle must be feeling right now.
Mostly frustrated I’d imagine, mixed with a good dose of righteous indignation, bubbling anger, and a small edge of nervousness.
Anyway, just to show you that loons aren’t restricted to just the Muslim side of the debate, check out this comment posted on Taking Aim earlier this afternoon.
